Avoid Finishing Your Story in the Centre of the Page
Life can feel like a really bad chapter in a book at times.A long, depressing, and perplexing chapter. You wish to put the book away and never pick it up again.
I have also experienced that.
However, I discovered that you cannot evaluate your entire story based on a single negative page.
Your Life Is a Story
Consider your life to be a book. There are humorous, frightening, and good parts. There are some dull pages. Some bring tears to your eyes.
However, each chapter introduces a new idea.Occasionally, the best chapter is the one that follows.
All you need to do is read on.
I Wanted to Quit — And Then I Didn’t
I had a day once when everything went wrong.I didn’t pass a test.I was ignored by a friend.”That’s it,” my brain said. I’m finished.
I wasn’t finished, though.All I needed was a rest.A little snack. A nap. A hug.
And you know what?It was better the following day.Better, but not flawless.
Bad Days Don’t Mean a Bad Life
You may feel disoriented. You may experience fatigue.I’ve been there, and you can cry in the shower.
However, that doesn’t mean your story has to end.It indicates that you require time.It indicates that something, not you, needs to change.
Ask for Help — It’s Not Weak
I found that talking to someone helped.A companion. An instructor. a parent. You don’t have to do it all by yourself.
Superheroes have teams, too.
The Best Part Might Be Next
Every great book has a twist.Unexpected. A moment of heroism.
Perhaps your big moment is still a ways off.Perhaps tomorrow.Perhaps it’s on the next page, waiting for you.
Don’t close the book, please.Flip the page.Stay for your tale.
You’re not done yet.Not even close.
Just keep in mind that even the greatest stories have difficult parts if you’re feeling stuck. However, they continue. You can, too.
